1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SmartSchoolsGH ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

SmartSchoolsGH provides a comprehensive school management platform that includes:

• Student information management system
• Teacher and staff management tools
• Academic record keeping and reporting
• Attendance tracking and monitoring
• Fee management and payment processing
• Communication tools for parents and teachers
• AI-powered analytics and tutoring features
• Mobile and web applications

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use our service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share false or misleading information

5. Payment Terms

Our pricing structure includes:

• Basic Plan: ₵299/month for up to 200 students
• Professional Plan: ₵499/month for 200+ students
• Free one-month trial with no payment required
• Monthly billing cycle with automatic renewal
• All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GHS)

Payment is due monthly in advance. Failure to pay may result in service suspension. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices. We are committed to protecting student data and comply with applicable data protection laws.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SmartSchoolsGH and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels
• Create derivative works based on our service

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartSchoolsGH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the service will cease immediately
• You must stop all use of the service
• We may delete your account and data
• You remain liable for all amounts due

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
